Adapting Agriculture in Florida during the COVID-19 Pandemic: COVID-19 testing for migrant workers in Florida and the Farm to You webpage

November 19, 2020

COVID-19 has altered the way many producers in Florida operate their businesses. Agricultural operations have had to implement new onsite protocols to keep farmers and farm workers safe, and there have been severe disruptions in the food supply chain.

On November 19 at 1 p.m. Eastern, the Southeastern Coastal Center for Agricultural Health and Safety will host Danielle Andrews and LeiAnna Tucker from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to discuss ways the Department has adapted to meet the needs of farmers across Florida. LeiAnna will discuss testing for migrant workers in Florida and Danielle will speak on the Farm to You website, a part of the Keep Florida Growing movement.
