July 14, 2022

The Southeastern Coastal Center for Agricultural Health and Safety (SCCAHS) was established in 2016 to conduct research, education, and prevention projects to address the health and safety issues in the agriculture, forestry, fishing industries throughout the southeastern U.S. and U.S. territories in the Caribbean. In early 2022, SCCAHS, part of a national network with 10 other agricultural health and safety centers, conducted listening sessions with agricultural and Extension leaders to better understand emerging issues and new collaboration efforts related to agricultural health and safety.

Join Dr. Ashley McLeod-Morin to learn about opportunities to collaborate with SCCAHS and how you can work to address agricultural health and safety challenges in your region. Additionally, she will share updates on future research projects of the Center, potential pilot research projects, and other new ways the Center is looking to advance research, education, and prevention of health and safety issues in the agricultural sector.
