Stressors, Resilience Factors and Applicability of New Interventions for Substance Misuse

May 14, 2020

In this month’s webinar, Dr. Robert Leeman will speak on his research about substance misuse and highlight applications for rural populations. Leeman studies relationships between various difficulties with self-control and addictive behaviors, particularly alcohol use, though he also has also conducted research on opioid misuse, tobacco use and gambling. This webinar will include information on connections between stress, mood and alcohol use, formative research to develop a tobacco cessation intervention for rural populations, and the potential for technology-based assessment and interventions in rural populations.

On May 14th, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Eastern, we invite you to join us for a SCCAHS webinar as Leeman shares more about his research on stressors, resilience factors and applicability of new interventions for substance misuse.
