The Southeastern Coastal Center for Agricultural Health and Safety (SCCAHS) conducts research on important topics related to health and safety in the agriculture, fisheries, and forestry sector. Dr. Martie Gillen, co-investigator on the outreach core for the center, has created training resources for navigating the complex world of risk management to help agricultural managers properly assess production, market, financial, legal, and human risks in agricultural production, as well as provide an overview of liability insurance options.
