COVID-19 Vaccine Perceptions Among Agricultural, Fishing, and Forestry (AgFF) Audiences

August 25, 2021

Agricultural, fishing, and forestry (AgFF) workers are an essential part of the United States workforce, and protecting these essential workers is important to promoting health equity and avoiding a disruption in our food system. A team of experts from different CDC/NIOSH Agricultural Safety and Health Centers explored knowledge and perceptions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine to inform vaccination efforts among AgFF workers and promote vaccine confidence among employers and workers. On August 25 at 1 p.m. Eastern, four of the team members will present key findings from their research as well as results from a follow-up survey aimed at identifying the impacts of COVID-19 on Extension personnel, and the attitudes and perceptions that this audience held about the vaccine.
